Granita has earned its place as my absolute favorite restaurant in Cairo, and for good reason. Located in the charming neighborhood of Zamalek, this restaurant offers a truly special dining experience that blends beautiful design, great food, and a peaceful atmosphere.The interior of Granita is simply stunning. It’s exquisitely designed, with a perfect mix of modern elegance and cozy touches. The attention to detail is evident, with tasteful décor, soft lighting, and an overall ambiance that feels both upscale and inviting. The indoor space is complemented by a lush garden, where plants and flowers are thoughtfully arranged, creating an almost serene escape from the city bustle. It’s a dream spot for breakfast or brunch, as the garden provides a tranquil backdrop while you enjoy your meal. The music at Granita adds an extra layer of charm—live piano performances fill the space with soothing melodies, setting a calm and sophisticated mood that’s perfect for a leisurely meal. It’s not just background music; the piano truly elevates the overall experience, creating a memorable ambiance that feels both intimate and uplifting.Of course, the food itself is a highlight. From the first bite to the last, every dish is crafted with care and attention to flavor. The menu is full of options, but the standout items are the mouthwatering main courses and the selection of wonderful desserts. The atmosphere here is absolutely incredible, I could happily spend all day here and be absolutely delighted! The staff have always been lovely every single time I visited. It is an incredibly cozy restaurant, perfect for date nights, and big gatherings alike.Everything I had here:Beverages:- Vietnamese Coffee: The coffee tasted so good and rich, and the bitterness of the coffee was balanced perfectly with the condensed milk. 10/10- Bo’s Vietnamese Coffee: Similar to the Vietnamese coffee, with the addition of rich, creamy whipped cream. It’s heavier than its brother but equally good, just depends on your preference. 10/10- Berry Karkadé: Refreshing, blended ice berry Karkadé drink with mint. It’s nice if you like sour desserts, 7/10- Crema Di Café: I’ve had much better cream coffee, this one was okay, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to recommend it to anyone 5/10.Food:- Levantine breakfast: everything was nice, fresh and clean and you get a very decent amount of food for the price. The tray is enough for two people. If you like Turkish breakfast, this was essentially that, but our favorite thing was the feteer which you can get separately. 8.5/10- Feteer Meshaltet: Very good feteer, served with cream and honey 9.5/10- Falafel wrap: the flavors, the sauce, everything was absolutely perfect! 10/10Desserts:- Cheesecake Baklava: this is the kind of dessert you make yummy noises eating with every bite, 11/10, I highly recommend it!!!- Pecan pie: the flavors were there but the pecans on top were so soft which threw me off. Still it was very enjoyable (especiallywith a pinch of salt to contrast the sweetness) 8/10 - pecans need to be crispier/crunchier.Overall, it’s one of my favorite places to visit, from the atmosphere to the staff. I thoroughly enjoy being here, the beverages are great, breakfast here is great and the desserts are great. Definitely give it a try! It is more on the expensive side, but the atmosphere is worth it in my opinion. I find myself always wanting to come back.

Just delicious. The orchid tuber drink is phenomenal. Do not miss this beautiful spot. Gorgeous decor.

Nice things about the breakfast experience:- ambience indoors & outdoors - lots of choices- fast preparation Minimum you’ll be paying is probably 200 EGP without coffee, but considering overall experience & compared to others, the pricing is reasonableBakery looked also very good but didnt try.

Very nice experience, the food was delicious Although not all the plates were available but they have enough options to replace ..the place was Crowded and noisy but it’s because of the wonderful atmosphere and interiorsI totally recommend:)

The atmosphere of a bohemian French/ Italian restaurant with live piano music. Attentive and hospitable staff. Amazing coffee and desserts, the best tiramisu in my life. Delicious and good quality food, fair prices. Just a few minutes walk from Marriott hotel. We had breakfasts and dinners there daily during our stay in Cairo.

Granita was a wonderful choice for our Friday morning outing! The ambiance was amazing, taking us back to the charm of old Cairo and the golden days. The atmosphere was perfect, and to top it off, there was a fantastic bazaar where we enjoyed shopping. An unforgettable experience!
